Joh 17:21 “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (KJV)

There must surely be some great advantages to be brought up in a small family with only one or two children. Just think about it: The family resources-cake can be divided in fewer slices and every portion can be a sizable one.

A thing many sports people have in common is the tendency to publicly give God the credit for their achievements. If they win or reach a certain goal in the match it is a look, nod or wave up to heaven, making the sign of the cross etc.

​All atheists and most scientists will regard God and science as mutually exclusive. But IS that the case? Science found its roots in the humble experience of conquering fire and inventing the wheel.

​The foundation of the belief nurtured by the Bible is at the same time also the most difficult of everything that’s being asked of natural humans to believe: the concept of eternal life. How on earth is it possible that I can be born in the flesh, spend my life in the flesh, then one sad day die in the flesh like every other living thing around me, yet resurrect from death as if I just went to sleep but woke up again?

Christianity maintains that December 25 is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, but IS it? The tradition started in the 4th century and even though many tried to get rid of Christmas as the premier day on many a calendar, the festival clung stubbornly to its position on December 25.

But regardless of tradition, what does the Bible say about the birth of Jesus? Is it possible that the Bible would stay mum on the birth of its most central figure, the Hub around whom the Old and New Testaments of the Bible evolve: Jesus? Upon closer scrutiny, it becomes clear that the Bible is not at all secretive about the birth of Jesus. All that needs to be done is to read the parts around Jesus’ birth in the context of the history of the Law for the Jews and voilà!

It is indeed alarming to see that a great many people read the Bible for the exclusive reason of trying to discredit the text and humiliate God with a claim of many so-called “discrepancies” littering His Word. During my studies of the Bible, I have come to see that most if not all of these “discrepancies” are the result of either people not reading the Bible correctly, or they come to conclusions by reading the different translations or expositions of the Bible...

Once again, a narrative in the Bible is torn into shreds by the tug of war between the Fundamentalists on the one side and the “science” mockers on the other side with Jonah and the fish in the center. The fundamentalists go to great lengths to “prove” that the story is no fake and, in the process, have to lean heavily on folklore to lend weight and credence to their “defense” of the Bible, at the same time manufacturing precious material for the mockers to build the Mocking Temple of God and the Bible. In the meantime, the essence of the narrative gets lost in this struggle. There is a very profound Truth that is hidden in the story of Jonah and the Fish and it is this Truth that we want to get to by doing this exposition of the Book of Jonah.

There are many verses in the Bible emphasizing that the foundation of the earth is indeed set on pillars. Makes one think of the skyscraper buildings whose foundations consists of piles, drilled deep into the rock formations under the building in order to be a strong and unmoving foundation. Let’s look at some of them:

Here is another very good example of how the so-called scientific wise men judge God and His Word based on their own ignorance. Their brains are incapable of registering what they read, and their conclusions reflect their prejudice against an unseen God, a Being that can be justified by the Absolute Truth of His word. In this article I want to prove that God knows ALL about the value of π (pi), and that Hiram could not have done it without His Inspiration and the two different writers of the Text could not have done it without God inspiring their thoughts.

The mockers have a good laugh here at the expense of Jesus. They say that if Jesus is God then He should be omniscient and know that the mustard seed is indeed not the smallest of all seeds! But let’s see who will have the last laugh!
