THE READER
For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, "Read this, please," they will answer, "I can't; it is sealed." Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, "Read this, please," they will answer, "I don't know how to read." (Isa.29:11-12)
The Bible is by far the most sold, the most read, but at the same time the most misinterpreted Book in the world. It is surely as it is written In Isa.29:11-12 - (see block quote)
From the very first verse in Genesis to the last verse in Revelations the Bible is subject to gross misconception, in some places more so than in others. In some places the seal is so tight that there are even warning signs put up that the particular Book or section is best left to “the Reader” for the correct interpretation:
Mat 24:15 NIV - "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand--
Rev 1:3 KJV – “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”
Apostle Peter even goes further and makes the following statement about Bible prophecy in general in 2Pet.1:19-21 –
”We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation of things.
For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
But take heart my brothers and sisters in the Lord. Jesus appointed a Reader in the Bible Sage, and this is the reason for this site’s web address, namely biblesage.com.
May the Lord open the eyes of those who read the fruit of the Readers divine inspiration in these pages.
