The debate about homosexuality falls into the category of those hatred-sowing destroyers that rips its claws through families and faith communities, leaving a procession of collateral damage in its wake.
The argument from the faith communities against homosexuality is mostly “God says…” shaking a judging finger to the relevant Scripture. The question is: Exactly what does God really say about this highly controversial subject?
Consider this: God divide humans into a secular humanity (land) and a spiritual humanity (sea) in Gen.1:9, and firmly set their boundaries (Job.26:10), effectively separating church and state. He orders man to rule over both “land” and “sea” (Gen.1:26) but He put different laws in place for secular humanity and for spiritual humanity. For the spiritual communities, He give Holy Books containing His Law and for the secular community He lets the human ruler (democracy, monarchy, etc. decide).
This means that practicing homosexuality, gay marriage etc. cannot be condoned within the spiritual communities if it is against the Law of their Holy Book (Bible, Quran etc.)
It also means that if the secular community agrees to enshrine certain rights for homosexuals in its Bill of Rights, the spiritual communities must also abide by and respect the rule of secular Law, because God is also the Ruler of Secular Humanity (Rom.13:1-7)
LGBTI AND GLOSECA
Gloseca is the House of Secular Atheism.
Humans of all backgrounds also belong to this secular house, but they are not allowed to bring their doctrines or gods into the house. All religions are strictly forbidden.
The Law in the House is not driven by any holy books, but by a constitution that is drawn up by mutual consensus and under guidance of the Golden Rule and subject to compassion and empathy for ALL fellow humans, despite gender and sexual orientation, as well as for nature.
