CHAPTER FOURTEEN
A Tale of Three Holocausts
THE SEED FROM DEATH
“Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” (Joh.12:24)
Now who would have thought that God would go to such great lengths to write and produce the Script, and create the characters to perform the real-life Play of the Old Testament that would one day become a dual seed of Bar Abbas, that would fall into the ground and produce a global harvest of human beings that will soon become a worthy heavenly colony in the Image of God in heaven.
“…But as the terabinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the ground.” (Isa.6:13) The “terabinth and oak” alludes to the Jews and Jesus that were “cut down,” Jesus BarAbbas at the start of the age of Atonement on the Day of the Curse of the year C21820 and Judah BarAbbas 1915 years later in the Curse of the Second World War of the year C23735. However, their stumps became God’s dual Holy Seed that would germinate and grow out of the ground on May 14, 1948AZ when Eschatological Judah arose from those ashes of the historic Jews, as the Firstborn Tribe of End time Israel.
Eschatological Judah that was born with the establishment of the state called Israel on May 14, 1948, was circumcised in the Yom Kippur War on October 6, 1973.
Jesus resurrected from the dead at the start of “the first day of the week” (Mat.28:1 etc.) two days after He was crucified and destroyed Death with that action, but the “Oak” stayed for nearly 2000 years as a “Holy Seed” in the ground and only started to germinate on the 505th anniversary of the Day of Reformation on October 31, C23813.
THE ROAD TO REDEMPTION
Sin, in both forms of Collective and Personal, certainly had a long road with many a winding turn to travel from the exit of Eden on a roundtrip through the millennia and back to the entrance of Eden, exactly 7023 years later. Let us have a look at that road.
Sin is certainly not a simple matter. It has a shared origin with regard to humanity, but also manifest in a different way within the person of every human being who is made in the Image of God and inherently possess both qualities of “good and evil” (Gen.3:22) Apostle Paul mentions the crux of the origin and redemption of sin in Rom.5:1-19 –
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
To get a grip on what the Apostle explains here and to understand the role of the Jews even better next to that of Jesus in the atonement of mankind with God, we must have a look at the pathway of Sin accompanying humans through the ages that would take it to different stages on the way to man’s full redemption with God.
1: From Adam to The Law
This part of human life on earth can also be subtitled “from innocence to guilt.” Although Adam and Eve awoke Personal Sin by being disobedient to the command ‘to eat or not to eat,’ the Bible is clear that they are not personally charged for their transgression: “To be sure, sin was in the world before the Law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no Law.” (Rom.5:13) However, "by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”
This indicates collective punishment for humanity: Death! From the moment when Adam and Eve set their feet outside the Garden of Eden on September 28 of the year C16800, Death became the constant companion of humanity. 3741 years later (in the year C20541) Death arrived on the top of Mount Horeb with Moses, where the Law was received that would eventually lead to the Atonement of man, and thus the death of Death and the destruction of Collective Sin. However, much more water would still have to run to the sea before that would be achieved. The Law created fertile breeding ground for Death and created the impression that the punishment for Collective Sin became hitched to Personal Sin.
2: From the Law to The Cross
After they received the Law on Mount Horeb Israel began the journey of 1279 years to Mount Calvary where they arrived on the Day of the Curse in the year C21820. When Christ uttered the words “it is finished” (Joh.19:30) the work of Christ was finished and the price have been paid in full for the ransom of humanity. Although Christ proclaimed Victory when He Resurrected, Death still had a role to play in the world, albeit stripped of its “sting and victory” (1Cor.15:55). The Dreadful became nothing more than a scarecrow, but Satan kept the “torn curtain” (Mar.15:38) between heaven and earth as tightly drawn as possible, so that humans would not be able to see the reality of redemption contained in the Ark of the Testimony of Jesus Christ behind the veil. Satan is successful because a divided Christianity is not up to the task to proclaim the Gospel of Christ’s Victory with conviction.
3: From the Cross to the Jewish Holocaust
With Death reduced to a temporal and common tool as a harvester of human life it was rendered immobile, and the lot fell on the Jews to become the Scapegoat whose job it would become to carry the Scarecrow through the ages. In this process of carrying the “pseudo wages,” they were at once saddled with the “sin” as well. The sad history of the Jews as the Scapegoat for the Collective Sin of humanity is well recorded. They carried Collective Sin for altogether 1915 years to the end of World War Two in the year C23735, to be destroyed together with them as a historic nation of Jews in the Nazi death camps, when at last their “it is finished” reverberated over the world. The Horrors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the Trumpets that announced this decisive moment in history.
4: From Jewish Holocaust to The Great Tribulation
After the historic Jews were released of the burden of the Scarecrow, a new transporter was needed to carry the Siamese Twins Death and Sin to their final conclusion. Here Personal Sin comes into the picture and every human being, whether dead or alive becomes involved. Nobody is excluded. “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us have turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on Him (= Judah BarAbbas) the iniquity of us all.” (Isa.53:6) Yes, “by His (= Jesus BarAbbas) wounds” the sheep have been healed, (v5) but the “sheep” led by Eliah, will carry the Scarecrow the last mile of the way, where Death and Personal Sin will finally be eliminated in the “fire” of the Great Tribulation from where Sin will reign no more and Death will become nothing more than a “Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from His.” (Heb.4:9-10)
JESUS, THE FIRST HOLOCAUST
Jesus Christ was the Substitute Lamb of God of which Abraham’s instruction to kill and offer his son Isaac as a burnt offering (= Holocaust – H5930) (Gen.22) was a prefigure. He offered His Body and Soul as a substitute, to make place for the physical and spiritual religions of humanity in the Heavenly Tabernacle. He also sacrificed His own life as a Sin Offering for the Atonement of mankind. Christians proclaim that when Christ uttered “It is finished!” on the cross (Joh.19:30), the Atonement Work was done as the third Sola declares “in Christ alone”. They are right as far as the Atonement work of Christ is concerned, but that is only one part of the Gospel of Atonement.
Yes, Christ’s work was finished when He suffered as God’s Holocaust, but the Bridge spanning the chasm between the temporal and the Eternal was not finished yet. Two more players needed to be considered. Two more Holocausts needed to be suffered before complete reparation will be reached between man and God. Two more “It is finished” need to be uttered in the world, before man’s Atonement with God will be finally achieved.
THE JEWS, THE SECOND HOLOCAUST
The role the Jewish Nation played in bridging the chasm between the temporal and the eternal can in no way be ignored or downplayed. It is major and must be included in the Gospel about the redemption of humanity. The Holocausts of the Jews and Jesus are to be inducted into the Eternal Hall of Remembrance by celebrating it every year at the proper times. For the Jews from the first to the tenth of the seventh lunisolar month, which is the Head of the Lunisolar creation Year, and for the Christians and the secular world, from the twenty-first to the twenty-eighth of September, which is the Head of the Solar Creation Year.
Then again during Holy Week, because it was during Holy Week of the year C20541 that Israel enacted the foreshadow ritual of the Passover that would be fulfilled in Holy Week of the year C21820 when Jesus became God’s True Passover and where the long walk to freedom for the Jews started, that came to an end on May 14, C23738 when they resurrected as the Eschatological Judah, the Firstborn Tribe of End time Israel (Rev.7:4-8) and finally found some rest for their weary feet in their own sliver of land in the end of the Age of Atonement.
THE GREAT TRIBULATION – THE THIRD HOLOCAUST
When Adam and Eve became disobedient to the instructions of the LORD they introduced Personal Sin into the world. The “serpent” spoke the truth when he told the woman: “You shall not surely die.” (Gen.3:4) Jesus and the Jews paid a heavy price to redeem the world of eternal sin, but about temporal sin the Bible is very clear:
“In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.” (Jer.31:29-30)
For the punishment of Personal Sin the option of Death was cancelled by the Holocausts of the two Sons of God, namely Jesus and the Jews. This leaves just the option of a live punishment, but make no mistake: Sin must be punished and the sinner corrected, Period!
However, before we can dig into the answer here we must first have a look at what the Bible means by “teeth set on edge.” Merriam-Webster defines it as “…annoying. To disturb the peace of mind of (someone) especially by repeated disagreeable acts.” This alludes to the conscience.
THE CONSCIENCE
“A person’s moral sense of right and wrong, which is a divinely embedded ethical compass that acts as a guide to a person’s behaviour. It is activated by the interaction of the inherent qualities of “good and evil” (Gen.3:22) that was copied and pasted from the Elohim in whose image man is created.” (BBJ)
The difference between the moral compass of the Elohim and that of humans is that the Elohim already went through the mill of life on earth. They were the previous Aion created on earth 8,4million years ago and are our heavenly Father. Their moral compass is hundred present functional, whereas that of humans are in the process of being developed.
Some humans have a good sense of choosing the good above the evil, others choose evil above the good, and the rest are on a sliding scale between the two extremes. A human’s state of the moral compass reflects on how they commit or avoid Personal Sin. Both the obverse and reverse sides of the Golden Rule as put forward by Jesus and Confucius are the best exercise in avoiding Personal Sin and refining a person’s moral compass:
Jesus (the obverse or positive) – “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” (Mat.7:12)
Confucius (the reverse or negative) – “Do not impose on others what you do not wish for yourself.”
Like a coin, these two sides can only function as one unit. The story of the Good Samaritan (Luk.10:30-37) illustrates this position very well.
- The “robbers” ignored the Golden Rule completely.
- The “Priest and Levite” reacted enthusiastically to the reverse side of the Golden Rule, but ignored the obverse side of it.
- The “Good Samaritan” acted positively to the obverse, which automatically took care of the reverse side.
The Negative: This illustration shows that the reverse side of the Golden rule, where the philosophy is “everything goes as long as I don’t do bad things to another,” breeds aloofness between people and in the process killing a spirit of community, where an attitude of ‘every one for himself and God for us all’ reigns supreme.
The Positive: The obverse side generates a spirit of ubuntu, the idea of being human through other humans, the thought of “I am, because you are,” a sense of ‘I see God in you and you see God in me,’ we are neighbours in God.
Jesus asked: “Which of these three was a neighbour to the robbed man?”
The expert replied: “The one who had mercy on him.”
Jesus told him: “Go and do likewise.”
The Law of the Glorious Generation needs to be based on the Golden Rule, and transgressions must always be dealt with a punishment that’s aimed at correcting the moral compass. Nobody is deemed to be beyond moral correction, the reason why the physical death penalty is never an option. The punishment must not aim at inflicting “an eye for an eye,” but rather at recalibrating the moral compass of the transgressor.
This is all well and good for the soon to come Glorious Generation, but what about the Suffering Generation? What about those perpetrators of Personal Sin that got away with impunity? And what about those who died without paying any price for their temporal sins? Scripture is very clear about the answer:
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” (Gal.6:7)
GOD’S DEEP CLEANSER – THE THIRD HOLOCAUST
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.”
(Mal.3:1-3)
The Great Tribulation, central message of this book, is the day that God will judge His human farm and plunge humanity in a deep cleansing operation that will visit both those alive, even those in the womb, as well as all humans already harvested from the earth. That is the day when God will visit every human being, whether dead or alive, to calibrate the conscience of every individual.
I cannot explain this distress that humanity will be exposed to, as it was not fully revealed to me, and in any case, I will also be subjected to it. The actions of the second Jonah as described in Chapters 3 and 4 of the Book of Jonah gives an idea that the sun is going to take a key role in the creation of this very difficult time that awaits the world. It also shows that not even the shade of a “leafy plant” (Jon.4:6) of whatever kind, not even the shadow of death will protect humans from this determination of God.
This is the third Holocaust, designed to take care of temporal sin, where every individual human will suffer for their own transgressions and every conscience will be reset when “…every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.” (Jer.31:30)
Collective Condemnation and Collective Redemption: This accomplishment will only be achieved in the Great Tribulation when “It is finished” will be written on the contract upon the completion of the bridge over the chasm. Ever since humanity was involved in this marathon of carrying the double barrelled relay baton of Sin and Death through the ages, the person or team carrying the baton at the time carried it for the whole of humanity.
That means Adam took the Collective Sin/Death baton at the start of the Marathon at the exit of the Garden, and carried it on behalf of humanity to Cain, who took it to Mount Horeb where they added Personal Sin to the charge sheet, from where the Israelites took it to Mount Calvary where Death was slain. The Jews, taking up the banner for all of Israel, carried Collective Sin further to be slain in their Holocaust, but Personal Sin, the silent hitchhiker, and Scarecrow-Death survived those two Holocausts and would be carried by eschatological Judah to July 5, 1948 where they handed the baton to Eliah, who will carry it on behalf of the Suffering Generation to the Fire of the Great Tribulation, where Personal Sin and Death will be annihilated.
In the next chapter we will discuss not one, but altogether four comings of Jesus Christ to the world, namely His first coming in the flesh, His second coming as a “Thief,” (Rev.16:15) His third coming as a “Lamb,” (Rev.14:1) and His fourth coming (His Return) “with the clouds.” (Rev.1:7) If you want to revert to the Index page, click here.
