When Moses was called, the bush burned, but the fire did not consume the bush, because the fire was spiritual... The bush was expendable, but the fire was indestructible. What Moses saw was a manifestation of the Angel of the Lord (Ex.3).
In the same manner God manifests in the Bible. Through the course of history many people tried to destroy the Bible, but to no avail, because there is so much more to the Bible than the mere literal words.
Even today atheists try to mock and ridicule the message of the Bible into extinction, but without success.
The Bible is indestructible, because God is indestructible and the Word of the Bible is nonexpendable, because the Word is Jesus, and Jesus is Eternal.
