When the Holy Spirit takes control of a life, the old ways and earthly logic must make room for the Gospel.
That's what happened to Apostle Paul. His wealthy lifestyle as a Pharisee, Teacher of the Law of Moses, Roman citizenship and many other privileges became things fit only for the trashheap. He said:
"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace." (Acts 20:24)
Are we willing to sacrifice everything dear to us, in answer to the Call of the Gospel?
