Everything Jesus learned from his Father, he taught his disciples (John 15:15). Although he was referring to his heavenly Father, one can assume that Jesus also taught them some tricks and tips from his earthly father's carpenter's shop.
One handy tip would be to teach about the finality of sawing a plank. It is wise to measure two, even thee times before cutting, because if that plank is cut short, it can not be corrected again.
We should emulate carpenter Jesus and carefully measure our words before uttering them. Wise words can be uplifting, but foolish words can do great harm.
